JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities will include: "X Serve as a technical lead of the Windows Services team, primarily responsible for the server environment at all DoITT and OPA "X Systems integration, server architecture, infrastructure, design and performance "X Support existing Windows-based systems and provide highly available and redundant solutions "X Assist in the ongoing deployment and management of server class hardware and software "X Provide technical support and maintenance for email, Internet/Intranet and database technologies "X Design, document and maintain technical architecture and infrastructure solutions. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Vendor Certification (preferred): applicable Microsoft Certifications EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE 1. A Master's Degree in computer science from an accredited college and three years of progressively more responsible, full-time, satisfactory experience using mainframe, mini- or micro-computer technology in computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data base administration, or planning of data processing, at least 18 months of this experience must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity in the areas of computer applications programming, systems programming, computer systems development, data telecommunications, data base administration, or planning of data processing or in the supervision of staff performing these duties, or, 2. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college and four years of experience as described above, or, 3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of experience as described above, or, 4. Education and experience equivalent to the above. However, all candidates must have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent and must possess at least three years experience as described above, including the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described above. Ability to articulate to all levels of Management in clear, concise understandable terms is critical Strong organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills are required Experience: Excellent technical knowledge of the Windows 2003 Enterprise Server platform Practical server support experience within a large-scale, complex environment Expert experience with Windows 2003, Group Policy, Active Directory, Domain and Forest migrations and trusts, Microsoft Clustering, Shadow copy, TCP/IP, LDAP, HTTP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, Exchange 2003/2000/5.5, Remote Installation Services, SQL Server 2000, NetIQ, Live Communications server 2005, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Intelimirror and Group Policy, Internet Information Server 6.0, McAfee ePolicy Server, Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000/2004 Experience working with System Management Server 2003 and Software Update Services, skilled expertise with installing, configuring and managing redundant systems such as NLB or Cisco load balanced WEB and Terminal server farms, database server clustering, NAS/SAN configurations; MS Certified To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
