Duties:
· Maintain proprietary SQL database that interfaces with an Access ADP front-end
· Add database functionality to help streamline production of Marketing material
· Prepare ad hoc reports for sales and marketing team
· Perform data mining to find key trends for Senior Management
Qualifications:
* Background in SQL, Access, Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience developing and administering MS SQL Server 2000
* Understanding of core SQL technologies such as stored procedures, functions, utilities, triggers, views and security
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills
· A self-starter, who is able to work independently, has excellent organizational skills, is detail oriented and possesses an ability to think clearly
· Must be a good communicator
· Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, advanced degree preferred
· Experience in hedge fund industry or comparable investment field a plus
