Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join a very dynamic and growing software team in Chelsea.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of large scale, high-traffic consumer facing websites in an ASP.NET / C# / SQL Server development environment.
Responsibilities:
What you will do:
„« Design, develop and implement complex high-traffic consumer facing websites in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, AJAX and related UI frameworks
„« Work with other developers on the project team to ensure the implementation is consistent across all application components
„« Prepare related technical documentation
„« Update problem tracking and change control tracking systems
„« Participate in team code reviews
„« Interface with internal system architects, senior designers, and QA analysts
Qualifications:
Skills and experience you will need:
„« Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript, Prototype javascript
„« Demonstrable web UI development skills and ability to show relevant work
„« Must be proficient in Object Oriented Design and Programming
„« Experience with database technologies including MS SQL and/or MySQL
„« Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
„« Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
„« Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
„« Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
„« Web development experience for high-traffic websites, e-commerce services, or relevant consumer software applications a plus
„« Knowledge of CSS, AJAX, and XML a plus
„« Familiarity with Agile tools and methods a plus
„« College degree, Bachelor¡¦s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
