1. You must be an engineer with experience using Visual Basic 6.0 and developing high quality software applications.
2. You must believe in testing your own work thoroughly and getting the software as tight as possible *before* submitting it to the QA department.
3. You must be able to work quickly and accurately.
This is a full-time position .
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Review existing code for products to ensure programs function as promised.
2. Debug and fix existing problems with software.
3. Update products to our new specifications.
4. Create and document test cases and thoroughly test both products on Windows XP and Vista to ensure proper functionality.
5. Provide feedback to supervisor regarding issues with software products.

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Good organizational skills.
4. Experience in a fast paced environment and ability to work quickly and accurately.
5. Extensive code commenting and thorough documentation of how software works.
6. Strong knowledge of error handling.
7. Strong knowledge of programming to interface with the Windows operating system.
8. Excellence at creating and documenting test cases, doing own testing, and delivering a stable, robust product.
9. Existing experience developing computer maintenance software such as a registry cleaner or disk cleaner products a major plus.
10. Existing experience with the NullSoft or InnoSetup installers is a plus.
11. Strong knowledge of C++, ASP (Active Server Pages), VBScript, Javascript, and HTML is a plus.
12. Knowledge of programming a service is a plus.
