Business Analyst (Market Data SME)
The duration for the contractors will be initially 6 months, with another 6 month extension if things work out.
Upon candidate submittal, you will be required to attach writing samples
Pay Rate: $75-85/hr W2 or C2C
General Requirements:
Each of the consultants is required to have strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support Market Data projects.
. Market Data vendor search (analysis/evaluation/selection process), portal integration between firm and the vendor (single sign on integration between firm and host app).
. Connectivity with Market Data vendors, develop layouts, GUI and integration into the portal with real time data as well as Billing and Tracking of Market Data and usage.
. Market Data experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project.
. Hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained (generally would have transitioned to project management/analysis some time in the career).
. Looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve as a subject matter expert in Market Data to support of the project, thus would expect that the candidates are senior analysts.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of the project including:
. Coordinate meetings
. Working with end users in requirements gathering
. Drafting business requirement and functional specification documents, publishing minutes of meetings
. Maintaining project plans
. Ensuring complete test scripts are developed by the QA team
. Coordinate activities with IT.
. Use guide preparation/training (may be required for some projects)
Candidate would need to be proficient in the basic MS Office applications as well as MS VISIO. There would not be a junior staff to support the candidate-for the most part the individual would need to perform all these tasks.
