Our client, a major business to business publisher has openings for junior and senior PHP or LAMP developers in it's NY office.
Scope of Role:
The programmer will be developing projects at all levels of complexity and making modifications to all static content and dynamic content. The candidate will be supporting several web properties (blogs, email newsletters, audience development, etc.) and must be a driver of change and creativity.
Experience: Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SQL databases.
- Linux System administration
- PHP programming using Drupal
- Site design and organization
Qualifications needed:
- Bachelors degree from a 4 year college or university.
- Web development and administration.
- 2+ yrs experience using PHP, Perl and Python or LAMP
- 2+ yrs experience with SQl databases and Linux administration.
- 2+ yrs experience using HTML and Javascript.
- Knowledge of database development and maintenance.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve technically.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Work well under pressure and ability to motivated self and others.
- Ability to learn new technologies as needed
