A well-established and well known investment bank seeks a consultant to come on board as a New Accounts Business Analyst for one of their midtown Manhattan locations. This position will be a 6-12 month+ contract.
As a New Accounts Business Analyst, you must possess the following knowledge and will be handling:
*Brokerage Account open and update process, required fields, regulatory knowledge of required data collection, books & records account requirements.
*Account data collection and tracking related to Patriots Act and other regulations including 17A4
As a business analyst, you will need the following skills:
*strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support a given project.
*Business experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project.
*Hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained
*Looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve as a subject matter expert in support of the project, thus would expect that the candidates are senior analysts.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of the project including:
*coordinate meetings, working with end users in requirements gathering
drafting business requirement and functional specification documents,
publishing minutes of meetings, maintaining project plans,
ensuring complete test scripts are developed by the QA team coordinate activities with IT. Use guide preparation/training (may be required for some projects)
