<b>Specifically, we need a high-energy developer and manager capable of managing a small team of developers(PHP,HTML,Java), writing code as well as understanding architectural trade-offs, design-patterns, and proper modularization of key components in a rapidly-changing and quickly-growing new industry segment.</b><p>

Experience: Experience in designing, implementing and testing scalable N-tier database-backed applications<br>
fluency in database design and SQL optimization <br>
experience developing applications that will reside on an Apache / Tomcat infrastructure <br>
be comfortable developing in dynamic, memory-managed languages / runtimes (such as Java / JVM) and be capable of picking up new modern OO languages quickly <br>
have experience maintaining an API set built in XML-RPC <br>
have extensive programming / scripting experience in one or more of the following: Perl, Python, PHP and JavaScript <br>
be knowledgeable in web-based protocols and standards such as HTTP and HTTPs <br>
be comfortable developing and optimizing in UNIX and specifically Red Hat Linux (this requires knowledge of: bash/perl, gcc, make and ssh) <br>
At least 5 years management or team lead experience.<p>
