Mac Desktop Analyst

We have an immediate opening for a Mac Desktop Analyst with one of our best clients. Daily duties will be to provide onsite Mac support for desktops and supporting printers and large scale plotters. The ideal Desktop Consultant will have strong Mac support knowledge in both Windows and Mac Environments. The consultant must have experience configuring and troubleshooting issues with OS X and Windows Systems.

The Mac Desktop Analyst must be able to support the infrastructure with little assistance, someone that is technically proactive is ideal. The company is quickly growing and is looking for someone to grow with it. This opportunity will quickly go from consulting to permanent if the consultant proves to be an asset with the company.
Experience: Skill sets required:
• Able to support Mac OS X systems.
• Experience supporting Desktop Environments in a Windows Infrastructure.
• Experience migrating Server and Desktop systems to new applications / hardware
• Ability to provide network and Help Desk Support and Monitoring critical devices.
• Experience with Epson/ Xerox Plotters or similar large scale printers is a must
• Ability to support email servers/ X Serv a strong plus.
• Experience providing phone/ remote support.
• Must be able to support Windows OS issues if needed.
• MS Server configuration and support experience a strong plus
• Supporting MS Office and Mac applications
• Assist in guiding the technical team on where the companies technology will be headed.
• Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of software updates, patches, migrations.
• Research new solutions and technologies to expand current technical infrastructure
Certifications a plus but not required:
•A+, Net+, MCP
•Mac OS X/ Mac OS X Server Essentials
•Apple Systems Service Certification
