Investment firm seeks several industry knowledgeable Senior Programmer Analysts. The candidate will function as a member of the development team and will be responsible for integrating new processes and enhancing the application environment to meet growing business demands. Looking for 7-9 years of total experience in software development.<br><br>

Candidate should be able to leverage analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for delivering high quality software systems. <br><br>

Experience: Analyze financial / transaction based business application requirements for functional areas including fixed income trading, portfolio accounting, settlements and treasury functions. Document business requirements/processes and technical specifications. <br><br>
• Develop detailed functional, technical design, and test specifications that fully satisfy business requirements. <br><br>
• Design, code, integrate, test and debug application software. <br><br>
• Make recommendations on system changes and enhancements in consultation with business users and IT colleagues. <br><br>
• Assist with user training and third-line support activities as necessary to ensure successful adoption of software systems.<br><br>
<br><br>
Skills and Experience: <br><br>
• Very strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills. <br><br>
• Expert level development skills in C# / ASP.NET, VB.NET and Transact SQL (T-SQL)<br><br>
• Strong development skills set in using Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database technology is required<br><br>
• Full software development lifecycle knowledge<br><br>
• Strong expertise in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level applications. <br><br>
• Ability to quickly adapt to priorities and perform under pressure in a fast changing team-oriented environment. <br><br>
• Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to document both business requirements/processes and technical documentation.
<br><br>• Enthusiastic attitude<br><br>
• Financial Services preferably Investment banking / Capital Markets experience is highly advantageous.<br><br>
