Application Engineer in Albany, NY

Application EngineerThe Application Engineer will support clients and sales force with technical and commercial proposals. Will review customer specifications from both a technical and commercial aspect. Size compressors for optimal performance. Create proper cost structures. Develop proposals. Support the process gas sales force in the sale of products and travel when needed. Comply with safety rules, regulations and OSHA requirements. Interact with other departments.BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 2-5 years working with compressors in the process gas market. Experience with API specifications relating to air and gas compressors. Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions. Experience with chemical/petrochemical markets.
