Experience working in school systems.Requires at least 8 years of experience in the implementation and planning of wireless and switching network infrastructure equipment within a large school district with 600 schools.Firewall technology (PIX), Virtual Private Networks, Wireless LAN, Class of service and quality of service, Traffic flow classification.Knowledge of Cisco Secure ACS security software to control authentication, authorization & accounting (AAA) for users accessing network using TACACS protocol.Knowledge of all Microsoft networking technologies (OS, Term, Server, A/D).Knowledge of all TCP/IP and Appletalk networking.Knowledge of communication protocols and Cisco communication equipment.Knowledge of working with large enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.Cisco Catalyst Switches 6xxx, 35xxCisco Routers 7500, 7200, 4000, 3600, 2600Cisco VPN 3000 technology infrastructureIn Depth Knowledge of all LAN and WAN networking technologies:Ethernet, Frame Relay, T1, T3,OC-x, ATM-WAN and ISDNRouting protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc.)Experience with implementing high bandwidth core server farms.Enterprise network management planning and implementation experience. This resource is highly skilled in multiple disciplines and can perform both planning and implementation network infrastructure hardware devices such as routers, switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, firewalls, Servers and mainframes. Additionally this resource is diversely skilled in communications both verbal and written to provide the synthesis and compilation of requirements for a set of projects and initiatives. This individual works in multiple capacities to provide high level planning of complex solutions involving various technologies and provides the following summary of skill sets: Requires at least 8 years of experience in the implementation and planning of wireless and switching network infrastructure equipment within a large school district with 600 schools. Requires in extensive working knowledge of the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, with at least 8 years of experience. Experienced in scoping and sizing of large scale network integration projects. Experienced in developing integration project plans and identifying areas to reduce time, cost, and/or budget. Excellent analytical skills, organization and attention to detail. Effective verbalization and written articulation of technical terms for non-technical audiences. Proven experience in creating illustrative image presentations to articulate concepts and solutions. Experience with understanding the political landscape and navigate the organization to help guide business decisions. Ability to establish strong working relationships with just below CxO level, Director, and Manager levels.
