JOB DESCRIPTION: CDI Business Solutions has an immediate long term contract opportunity through April 2011 for a computer applications Training Manager who is able to work at locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and occasionally travel to NJ. The Training Manager is responsible for the important task of leading the training team to deliver the training program, tools, and techniques to the staff and end-user population. The Training Manager will oversee the efforts of the Trainers who will provide experienced training staff to accomplish the training requirements of this project. This role is responsible for the following tasks: 1.Develop training plan for all phases 2.Identify required resources (staff, equipment, materials) 3.Assign training tasks 4.Monitor progress towards training goals 5.Participate in mock trainings 6.Identify improvement in training plan and adjust plan accordingly Requirements: 1.Bachelors degree (masters degree preferred) from an accredited college or university in Training and Development, Human Resources, Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instructional Management, Technology or related field, and two or more years of management 2. Ability to use the computer application tools to train users and demonstrate products 3. Ability to manage both staff and process 4. Ability to speak effectively in both group and individual situations 5. Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and in tern, teach these concepts to others 6. Ability to produce written and electronic training materials 7. Good organizational skills 8. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment 9. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously 10. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently 11. Ability to manage budget, revenue and profitability TAKE ACTION!
