Vice PresidentNew York, NYFull Time/Permanent PositionHours: 8-5Salary - OpenProject: General Department Support Description:The relationship manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current institutional clients of the firm. In this role, the Relationship Manager will work with the Team Manager in increasing revenues via up-selling and cross selling opportunities. Responsibilities: The Relationship Manager will have the following primary duties: Relationship manage existing book of business consisting of Financial Institutions, Private Equity, Corporates, Mutual Funds, Investment Advisors and Broker/Dealers. Interface with traders and sales teams. Identify cross selling and up selling opportunities. Track client revenues to ensure growth targets are achieved. Schedule and attend weekly client meetings to conduct due diligence for onboarding of new and existing clients. Gather client feedback after product/service usage and communicate findings internally. Maintain database of assigned clients. Preliminary Qualifications: At least 7-10 years of experience as a relationship manager. Strong product knowledge required: working knowledge of the purpose and types of traded and derivative products, including foreign exchange, credit, equity, total return, interest rate and cross currency swaps. Knowledge of various Capital Markets and derivative products and associated documentation. Robust understanding of KYC/AML regulations. Credit training or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Broad-based knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management. A communicator capable of handling high-profile clients, ie Financial Institutions, Mutual Funds, Private Equity, Broker/Dealers and Investment Advisors. Proficiency with Microsoft, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere. Strong sales, organizational, analytical, communications and credit skills Series 7/63.Favoured applicants will have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance. Ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth. Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time. Superior analytical and critical thinking skills.
