IT Effectiveness professionals at Ernst & Young have extensive experience with information security protection, system security planning, information security assessments and implementation, security program development, business continuity planning and strategic technology planning. These services help companies validate their infrastructure, design and implement business processes and technology solutions, address regulations and educate and train management and employees.We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant who will be responsible for leading projects or elements of multiple client engagements, including service delivery and sales generation, along with other related activities in the Technology and Information Services practice. This professional will manage engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design and implementation of security and IT risk solutions. The successful candidate will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems to develop and improve security at both the procedural and technology level.Responsibilities:IT Process Improvement IT data center/operations background ITIL Certification Process evaluation and improvement experience Professional services background preferred Strong client interaction/communications skills Meeting facilitation skillsCollaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop project plans and work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. Work with the team to document the business processes dependent on information technology. Ensure high quality client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations. Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.Requirements:To qualify for this position offering excellent career advancement opportunities for the right professional, candidates must have: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related major; MBA or MS preferredA minimum of five (4-5) years of relevant experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company.
