Change Management ManagerBrooklyn, NYApply now at (see below) or call:Milly Rivera at JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Change Management Manager will report to the Implementation Lead and will collaborate with company staff and formulate communication outreach plans for the District that will help company effectively prepare the teachers, administrators, special educators, case managers, and other users of the Special Education Student Information System (SESIS) for transition to the company's new SESIS.This role is responsible for the following key tasks:1. Lead and assist in facilitating the creation of a detailed and executable communications plan and organizational change management plans2. Lead and assist the client in the coordination and implementation of the communications and organizational change management plans3. Develop strategies targeting cultural change for company end users4. Develop communication and organizational change management summary and evaluation reports.5. Review, analyze and approve all changes to the communications and organizational change management plans with approval from Project Manager6. Function as liaison with company department managers as it pertains to communications and organizational change management7. Develop and manage key messages and output materials to end users focused on the implementation of SESISEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's degree (masters degree preferred) from an accredited college or university in Change Management, Marketing, Training and Development, Human Resources, Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instructional Management, Technology or related field, and two or more years of change management or communications experience2. Ability to communicate complex changes in organizational process to many staff, either in person or through remote communication strategies3. Ability to define strategy and implement communication and change management activities for a large, urban school district within a key software implementation project4. Ability to manage both client interaction and process5. Ability to speak effectively in both group and individual situations6. Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and in turn, teach these concepts to others7. Ability to produce written and electronic change management and communication related materials8. Ability to manage budget, revenue and profitability 9. Good organizational skills10. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment 11. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously 12. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently13. Ability to identify district needs and translate them into potential sales opportunities14. Ability to travel as neededEXPECTED PERFORMANCE GOALS:1. Perform overall management of communications and organizational change management for the TIENET implementation at the New York City Board of Education2. Complete all SESIS related deliverables, on time and on budget3. Train staff that work on TIENET projects to be champions for the change management effort4.
