Global Financial Institution located in USA - NY - New York has an immediate opening for a PERL/C# Developer . Experience: 3-5 Education: Bachelors Degree Job Description: This position is within the Brokerage Bank information technology team. The Bank is experiencing significant growth, requiring the development of a series of applications for daily investment portfolio monitoring and Bank senior management reporting. The applications will help portfolio managers monitor their pricing and risk metrics. It will also provide ad hoc reporting to risk management, financial controllers and auditors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an application end-to-end with significant exposure to the business unit. Specific responsibilities include: The candidate will work on the successful design, development and implementation of the reporting applications. Design and develop appropriate solutions taking into account the requirements of Business Unit Management, Internal and External Auditors, Regulators and IT security. Conduct day-to-day application support activities such as data quality analysis, job monitoring and trouble-shooting. The candidate should be flexible, multitask and assist on other projects as and when required. Skills Required: Strong C# PERL Strong Sybase or DB2/SQL knowledge including data modeling and writing stored procedures Good ability to design, develop, and deploying applications Working knowledge of Informatica (ETL) tools Working knowledge of Autosys Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and Windows platforms Object Oriented Design and programming experience in Java or ++ is a plus Skills Desired: Web Programming skills including: ASP.NET, XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD, XPATH, .NET Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, ASP, Java Script, VB script, CSS, HTML, DHTML, IIS 4/5/6 Knowledge of the financial industry and fixed income products.
