Genesis10 is seeking a mid-level Java/Interest Rate Derivatives/Swaps Developer for our major client in New York City on a full-time basis. Our client is looking for several mid-level, but extremely talented core, multithreaded, Java Developers to work between Quantitative engineers and traders to build a suite of applications. Experience: Required Skills/Experience: - Strong server-side core Java development skills (2 - 8 years). - Strong experience with multi-threaded development (2 - 8 years). - Experience working with Interest Rate Derivatives and Swaps. (2+ years). - Experience working with the full software development lifecycle. - Must be able to work in high-pressure environment. - Experience working with key business stakeholders including traders, quantitative analysts, and users. - Clear, confident, communication skills. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with Calypso is a big plus. - C# UI design and development is a plus. - Working knowledge of Excel is a plus. - Working with scripting languages, like Perl, Python, shell is a plus.
