Primary Duties
Development of detailed project plans including overall scope of work, schedules, resource allocation requirements, and dependencies.
Prepare and present project status reports for VP and C level client executives.
Prepare and present weekly status reports for management including project status, timelines, resource requirements (present and expected), and scope issues/resolutions.
Provide overall technical support for both infrastructure design and troubleshooting issues during the build process.
Provide and manage daily tasks list for diverse engineering resources assigned to the project including company, client and 3rd party.
Required Experience
Minimum of 4 years IT infrastructure build Project Management experience required preferably related to the build of large IT based infrastructures at data centers.
Basic knowledge of, and/or experience related to TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and Cisco based e-commerce infrastructures components and design
Basic knowledge of, and/or experience related 3-tier e-commerce architectures design and operations including web layer (Apache, I Planet), app layer (Java based applications such as ATG Dynamo, BEA Weblogic), and DB Layer components (Oracle)
Proven ability to effectively communicate technical and project related information to an audience comprised of various skill levels.
An understanding of overall business functions and the impact of technical decisions on business results.
Experience with MS-Project. Experience: Minimum of 4 years IT infrastructure build Project Management experience required preferably related to the build of large IT based infrastructures at data centers.
