Purpose and Intent of PeopleSoft Analyst Position: Position is primarily responsible for providing functional accounting support utilizing PeopleSoft to research and resolve invoicing, receivables, payables, projects setup, and other assorted accounting issues. Experience developing queries and interrogating data within the PeopleSoft data bases is required. Experience in developing and running software routines to validate data resident in the system and being reported out of the system. The position requires specific Peoplesoft functional skills in at least two (2) of the following modules: AP, GL, Projects, AR. This will involve, but is not limited to everything identified as "Primary Responsibilities". The position will function, in support to the Senior Data Analyst, assisting in the development of electronic audit processes and data extracts from the PeopleSoft system to facilitate and perform the audits of all customer invoices, vendor payables vouchering, and functional audit needs of the Vendor Management Programs. The position includes performing (running) data audits from the PeopleSoft system, conducting problem analysis and providing operations reports and analysis, including recommending opportunities for improvement etc. The position will not be responsible, nor be involved in personnel issues. Primary Responsibilities: Provide support from a PeopleSoft System perspective to the Audit Team to insure the integrity of the data resident in and extracted from the PeopleSoft system. Support the auditing of the data integrity of the Vendor Management Systems to PeopleSoft data exchange. Responsible for the end-to-end data flow and integrity of the entire Implementation process for company's Vendor Management and PeopleSoft systems. Sign off on the Implementation process technical Q&A specs and testing. Develop and generate standard and adhoc auditing queries and reports, utilizing the PeopleSoft databases. Performing (running) data audits, conducting problem analysis, and providing operations reports and analysis. Interface with client personnel to facilitate the electronic exchange of billing, reporting, and customer cash receipt information. Special projects in support of finance group operation as needed.

Requirements:

Required Experience and Skill Set: 4-year Degree in Computer Science or Business. 2-5 years PeopleSoft functional experience is a must. PeopleSoft Technical experience is highly desirable. Solid Financial Accounting background. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management. Travel: Requires minimal travel, which is primarily same day or possibly overnight if required.
