Very large and renowned Publishing company in Manhattan seeks top-notch Privacy Manager. This position is responsible for monitoring and assisting in enforcing the company?s electronic privacy and data protection initiatives. The privacy officer is involved in all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization?s privacy and data protection policies and procedures. This includes compliance with federal and state laws and industry standard privacy practices. Responsibilities include maintenance of the on-line privacy statement on all Holtzbrinck Web products, assisting in the development and communication of on-line and other privacy-related policies, handling of issues, and ensuring compliance with all Holtzbrinck privacy policies. Functions include performing regular monitoring, tracking and reporting on status and performance results for all privacy initiatives and department projects. Other duties will include creating and maintaining data flow, mapping and documentation. Interfacing with 20 Marketing Mgrs nationwide . . This person will be a Liason between the Marketing Mgrs , IT and Legal dept . They must have a Project oriented backround as well as being knowlegable on website privacy .
