Experience: Mandatory Requirements
? Proficiency in speaking and comprehending the English language (Must be able to speak English that can be understood by native speakers of English and must be able to comprehend English when spoken by native speakers of English.).
? Minimum of four (4) years experience installing, configuring, and upgrading Unix systems. At least one (1) year of that experience must be within the last 24 months.
? Minimum of four (4) years experience with Korn shell and scripted system utilities.
? Minimum of three (3) years experience installing and administering Apache, TomCat, or SunOne web servers.
? Minimum of three (2) years experience with Java programming and developing Java Applications.
DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance:
? Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading IBM/AIX systems.
? Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading HP/Tru64 Unix systems.
? Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading HP/HP Unix systems.
? Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading Red Hat/Linux systems.
? Experience installing, configuring, and administering Open VMS 7.x or 8.x clusters.
? Experience performing Open VMS upgrades, patches, and layered products installations.
? Experience installing, configuring, and administering UNIX utilities such as Samba, SSH, SUDO.
? Experience administering enterprise storage in SAN environment.
? Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager or VERITAS NetBackup enterprise backup solutions.
? Experience with system performance monitoring and analysis.
? Experience with system security monitoring and auditing analysis.
? Experience working on a task team in a large, complex, data processing environment.
? Experience coding JSPs, servlets and JDBC.
