To review our credentials and accolades please go to our website: Business Analyst Role: * Perform business analysis activities focused on Front Office, Product Control, Financial Control, Operations and/or Risk areas. * Provide subject matter expertise in some or all of the following business processes: Trade Capture, Market Data Management, Valuation, P&L attribution/reporting, Price Testing, Structured Trade Analysis, Account Postings and Risk Reporting * Lead development, testing and launch events for new products, instruments, commodities and market areas * Primary contact for the project related development, testing and implementation * Analysis of interfaces, some high level design making decisions. * Gather, compose and refine requirements documentation in order to drive various development activities. * Recommend procedures for internal controls and reconciliation. * Create custom system or process documentation as needed. * May require limited weekend, holiday working and travel Education : Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Engineering and/or Business * CPA * MBA * CFA Work Experience * 3-5 years in Accounting/Finance * 2 years experience with financial systems implementation * Experience in OTC derivatives, preferably commodity products/instruments * FAS 133/MTM accounting * Experience with Endur application * Experience working a trading environment * Knowledge of gas, power and oil trading markets * Experience in developing / coding own models to calculate risk / PVs on derivatives * Experience of working closely or in a quant group * Experience of designing / implementing risk systems for Front Office traders * Experience with scheduling of physical power and gas Knowledge * Must understand market data dependencies, yield curve construction, interpolation, discount factors and other valuation related concepts * Knowledge of Swaps, Swaptions, Options, listed and OTC TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: * OpenLink - Endur * Unix * Java/C * Oracle * SQL Experience: Desired skills: .
