Job Responsibilities : Responsibilities include interfacing with clients in the TV Network and other Media Business Units (primarily Clients in the Sales departments), for the purpose of system requirements definition as well as for performing analysis activities during application systems' development and implementation stages; also, leading team members in various phases of system development, as well as in ongoing system support, for varied business applications (predominantly in the Sales area), for many clients, on a concurrent basis; also, leading team members' effort in collaboration with other Information Systems departments and coordination of inter-group follow-up, problem resolution, action items and project related initiatives, on a planned and unplanned basis. Required Qualifications : Education: BS/ BA in Computer Science, MIS or a related field of study Years Work Experience: 10+ Years Technical Skills: Strong systems analysis skills; demonstrated experience with programming on various platforms using various different languages and databases. Non-Technical Skills: Project leadership experience; strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to rapidly assess a technical or business situation and recommend solution or opinion to Management; demonstrated ability to meet project target dates; initiative and willingness and flexibility to perform a diversity of tasks, eg. requirements definition according to a new standard format, analysis conducted using a new methodology, evaluation of alternative solutions that include a wide range of options and products, participation in projects for both Sales department clients as well as clients outside the Sales department, participation in projects as both a project leader as well as a project team member where someone else is the leader, etc. Desired Qualifications : Education: BS or MS in Comp Sci, MIS or a related field of study Years Work Experience: 10+ Years Technical Skills: Data warehousing software, optimization software Non-Technical Skills: Extensive project leadership experience, previous experience with Sales application systems in the Media environment; knowledge of the Media Sales business processes; ability to work effectively under pressure, with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
