Resource Excel Analyst in New York, NY

A well-established investment bank in midtown Manhattan seeks an eager Resource Excel Analyst to join their Credit & Equity technology division. This role will start with a twelve month contract-to-perm opportunity. The most important aspect of this position is a strong background in Excel. You must have experience with pivot tables and formulas, as well as the ability to maintain spreadsheets. Day-to-day activities will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining reports of personnel within a planning portal for resources Providing support through ad hoc excel reports Providing monthly status reports on hiring plan Data Management Experience: In addition to a strong Excel background (pivot tables / formulas), the ideal candidate will have the following traits: High Proficiency in MS Word Strong Powerpoint skills An ability to analyze and correlate data from multiple sources Detail-oriented Confidence in working in a fast-paced, high energy, team environment Basic understanding of technology as a whole Successful candidates will have the following experience: 3-4 years experience in the industry. Financial experience is preferable, but not required HRIS experience will be extremely helpful for this role The position is not for a recruiter.
