Data Network Design - Sr. Analyst Description This position is primarily responsible for managing the data security devices world-wide. This position manages the external domain name servers, firewalls, and load balancers. This position is secondarily responsible for design, planning and implementation of Data networks world-wide and is expected to provide level-3 support for routers, switches, and wireless infrastructures. Daily Responsibilities: Manage Domain Naming Services (DNS) infrastructure and acquisitions of name space for external use Define and document standard configurations for firewalls and content balancing hardware Design and implement Internet access solutions world-wide Perform complex tasks related to network operations, installation and/or maintenance for local, off-site and/or remote locations Develop, maintain and enforce acceptance criteria and procedures for the implementation of new infrastructure into the operational environment Develop methodologies for analysis, testing and quality assurance of transmission mediums and infrastructure components Analyze and document application behavior for network planning Train world wide business unit operations staff in new services, procedures, applications and equipment Assist in the documentation of technical architecture for data infrastructure in over 100 countries world-wide Requirements Effective interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with peers and other business and technology professionals. Candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical resources to ensure application and infrastructure implementations achieve success. Excellent Team player with initiative to work smarter, not harder Strong documentation skills with attention to detail Experience in the administration of content load balancing hardware (i.e. F5 Big IP, Cisco CSS, Citrix Netscaler.) Understanding of Perl and/or Regular Expressions a plus Knowledge of the following : Cisco ACS Server and AAA Server (Authentication, Authorization and Access) Cisco IPS Intrusion Prevention Cisco SAFE framework Internet Protocols IPv4 and Ipv6 Unicast and Multicast Networking VPN tunneling NAT, PAT Advanced knowledge of Cisco PIX OS and DMZ design Cisco VPN Concentrators (VPN 3000 series) A working knowledge of BGP and MPLS, including route filtering and prefix list usage 4-8 years experience in software/hardware data network design with concentration on firewalls Project management experience within Telecommunications Bachelor's Degree in a telecommunications related field, or equivalent experience To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
