Job Description: · Lead Six Sigma projects that improve or redesign business processes that increase revenue, reduce expenses or increase productivity. Partner with senior level business sponsors, process owners and project teams to assess current processes, generate solutions and implement improvements within and across functions. · Manage activities of one or more project teams in execution of Six Sigma process improvement, process management or process design projects. Use project management techniques to prepare and maintain project scope, schedule, resources and budget. Conduct tollgate reviews to ensure continued alignment with project sponsors' objectives. · Work with the process owner and project teams to assess risks of solution implementation, derive cost-benefit analyses and test recommended solutions. Perform cost analysis and calculate the project net income of each project in partnership with the AXA Way Financial Analyst. · Create metrics and toolsets for monitoring the process and maintaining control over it after implementation of improvements. Continue to coach Process Owners following implementation of improvements. Perform +3 and +12 months control reviews with the process owner to ensure continued process control and to calculate actual benefit achievement. · Coach Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. · Support peer-to-peer learning by sharing technical or subject matter expertise on methodology, tools and techniques such as process design, Minitab or facilitation skills. · Engage business areas in promoting AXA Way, identifying additional improvement opportunities and assisting the responsible Master Black Belt with achieving process improvement objectives for a particular business area. · Domestic travel on an as needed basis depending upon the needs of projects being supported. Occasional international travel may be required Job Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of five years of business experience, preferably with a majority in financial services, including: · Four years experience managing moderately sized projects using project management methods & tools (Project, Primavera, etc.), with the demonstrated ability to facilitate and motivate teams. PMP Certification is a plus. · Two years experience improving processes using formal methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, etc. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels in the company is required and experience using formal change management methods is desirable. Intermediate software skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required and experience using process mapping tools (Visio, ProVision, etc.) and data analysis tools (MiniTab, etc.) is desirable.
