Web Developer Description: Our media client has an immediate need for a talented Web Developer to work in a challenging and creative environment. He/she must have strong skills implementing interface designs with application development experience. Candidates should have experience developing with varied web technologies. Web Developers are responsible for the coding and delivery of high quality, interactive applications and managing the configuration and delivery of production quality code on a production ready network. Responsibilities * Develop interactive, user-centric web applications * Work in a distributed team environment. * Ensure all company design and development standards are adhered to. * Ensure that reuse of existing solutions and code is promoted throughout all work conducted. Qualifications * 2+ programming experience * Programming skills with one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, Flash, Ruby, Python, PHP. JSP a plus. * Experience with frameworks (Spring, Struts) * Experience with database technologies, data access technologies * Knowledge of integration with packaged solutions like CMS a plus * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Ability to be a team player and strive in a team environment * Design skills are a plus * Understanding of UML.
