Job Description
- Work closely with the Product Owners
- Facilitates discussion and conflict resolution
- Helps team members to understand roles in the Scrum process (planning, review, estimating...)
- Teaches team how to use and write user stories; works with team to estimate story points
- Plans and runs all Scrum-related meetings (Sprint planning and reviews, daily Scrum, retrospectives)
- Makes sure that Product Owner maintains and updates a backlog
- Helps team to choose stories and tasks in a Sprint, decompose stories into appropriate size tasks, ensures that team does not over commit
- Works with team to define what ?done? means
- Helps engineering managers write stories and prioritize infrastructure projects
- Helps in prioritization of bugs tickets
- Helps team track maintenance work
- Makes sure that Sprint burn-downs are updated daily and are visible to the team
- Encourages team to adapt Agile engineering practices
- Ensures accuracy of information tracked during Sprints
SpecificSkillsand Experience
- At least 10 years of working experience in a Technology environment
- 3 - 5 years project management experience, including at least 1 year of technical project management
-Strong facilitation skills/experience leading meetings (experience in training staff a plus, but not required)
- Experience managing projects comprised of cross-organization/ cross-discipline team members -Change management experience - experience introducing change in medium to large organizations(nice to have)
-Experience managing multiple teams with competing priorities and shared resources
-Agile project management and/ or programming experience
-Looking for excellent communication skills, confidence in discussing technical projects, and the ability to assimilate information quickly.
