The Sr. Analyst - Web Development will be responsible for providing systems support to the Online and Direct Marketing business. In this role, the person will be required to understand both the business and technical needs of these areas and design / implement the appropriate technology solutions.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency
- Primary point of contact for business units
- Gathering and documenting client needs and requirements
- Act as the business advocate within the technical team
- Coordinate system support changes, testing and enhancements with multiple teams (both internal and external)
- Perform technical tasks (SQL queries,
maintenance, etc.) in support of business needs.
- Maintain and communicate timelines, schedules and status reports
- Assessing and communicating the impact of technical limitations and/or capabilities
- Act as technical system owner with on call responsibilities
- Plan, manage and coordinate various systems enhancements supporting the business with tasks that include developing functional and technical design (along with Development manager), providing guidance to development team, system testing, coordinating user testing, implementation support, and preparation of training / user manuals.
- Partner with Business Units in the implementation and support of the application systems
- Partner with IS technical staff to design and implement solutions
- Communicate status/progress and issues to Business Management, End-users and IS management
Experience: Strong documentation skills (user manuals, business requirements, test plans, etc.) - Ability to handle multiple tasks - Excellent time management, job scoping, and estimating skills
