Application Developer with OOP and XML in NEW YORK, NY

Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for Lead Application Developer with OOP and XML experience for a contract to hire position in Midtown.
Our client , a leading marketing company, is expanding its technology team and is looking for the lead developer for the client side application of their platform. The job requires significant expertise in object oriented programming, Flash and XML.

Requirements
* At least five years experience with object oriented programming (ideally C++ or Java)
* Basic knowledge of Flash with a demonstrable ability to reach the expert level quickly.
* Extensive use of XML
* Experience with client/server applications
* Understanding of Internet protocols

Also Desired
* Experience with Flex
* Knowledge of Windows and its APIs
* Experience with development of consumer applications
* Experience with Microsoft SQL
* HTML, DHTML, Javascript
