Premier NYC Hedge Fund looking for Computer Programmer/ Business Analyst. To fill a vacant seat due to recent promotion.
Ideal candidate will possess a strong Financial Services knowledge with emphasis in trading and valuations. Candidates with prior experience with derivatives/ quant. analysis will be given first priority.
Position entails writing and programming code for programs like SQL, C#, C++, Matlab and VBA.
Strong systems knowledge is obviously a must but the position will also have daily "Front Office" duties so superior verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
Technically strong candidates who "get it" will eventually be awarded the opportunity to sit on the trading floor.

Experience: Requirements:
2+ years industry experience
BA/BS Information Science or Similar
MBA/MS Mathematics or Quant Science
Excellent working knowledge of SQL,Matlab,C#,C++
Ability to write macros,pivot tables and VBA
