Description
New York City-based provider of interactive solutions for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries is looking for a motivated, full-time Director of Interactive Development with extensive experience in interactive development and management/supervision to lead the production and delivery of interactive products and services.

Projects include, but are not limited to, database-driven Websites and applications, Tablet PC interactive promotional materials, stylized and scientific animations, and touch screen and convention style applications. Past experience should include development of consumer-facing Internet assets
(Websites, display ads, etc).
Management includes personnel talent evaluation, task delegation, project supervision,
and optimization of department production. Candidate must have 5 or more years of managing
multi-disciplinary teams (7-15 people). Thoroughness and attention to detail are a job requirement.
Experience: Skills
Hands On – extensive Website, Web applications, and database-driven applications development experience. You are a provider of solutions building on past successes. Strong overall technical proficiency required in Web-based, disc-based, and video environments.

Practical Experience – significant understanding of multimedia technologies and standards for the purpose of analyzing project scope, projecting budgets and timetables, and articulating the
department’s capabilities.

Collaboration – work closely with creative, account, project, developers, and the Client to ensure each project meets business, user, and technical requirements and constraints.
Leadership – guide and develop team members to continuously upgrade their skills, knowledge, and productivity. Insure that Agency can offer best-in-class products in a full range of interactive services.

Pharma – previous industry experience is a plus for the position.

Technologist – has a clear understanding of Web development processes and is responsible for documenting, planning, realizing, and managing interactive projects.

Quality Assurance – ensure that the quality of services meets or exceeds customer requirements. Monitor performances to ensure compliance with approved processes and, when appropriate, the implementation of process improvements. This position is the final checkpoint before releasing the final interactive product to our Clients.
