Title: Oracle DBA
All of the below is in an Oracle RAC environment.
The Oracle RAC will have been pre-installed on 4 clustered environments (dev, QA, prod, etc).
However familiarity with working in an Oracle RAC environment is required for performance tuning and troubleshooting.
-Total Migration Pre-Work and Testing for Development cycle
-Develop Implementation Strategy (Cutover)
-Build production cut-over strategy
-Build scripts to pre-create database and migrate data
-Production Data Migration Planning Activities
-Migrate Production Data
-Run Unit Data Migration Validation Tests
Primary Role: Database Administrator
Primary Skill Set: Oracle Database
Secondary Skill Sets: AIX/UNIX; High Availability
Other Skills: Familiar with working in an Oracle RAC environment.
Location: Albany, NY 12202
Length: 3 months ++
