Our client is a world recognized leader in the financial industry. This is an exciting opportunity in mid-town NY. Client desires to hire this position as a FT employee at some point during the contract
CF Developer (certified via Brainbench, W3Schools, or Adobe/Macromedia) who knows Databases/SQL Server. The team will be upgrading/migration from CF 5 to MX7. Coding/recoding in Cold ColdFusion sites. Adding data to the database and will be using the database to produce data.
Experience with:
Migrations and upgrades from CF 5 to MX 7.
CFC's, Suppress Whitespace, working with Array Functions and custom tags.
CF Frameworks such as FuseBox, Model-Glue, Mach-II, Reactor or ColdSpring.
Eclipse + ColdFusion, CVS, SVN
Version control systems including both CVS and SVN
JIRA bug tracking tool, JIRA + SVN plugin
Lotus Notes
SQL
- transactions
- indexes, use of indexes, types of indexes, why to use what
- optimizing SQL queries
- optimizing DB tables, indexes
- normalization of data
- SQL Server 2005
- OOP
