My client is looking for an individual to work in their New York IT Department, based in Manhattan. The position requires that you support their pattern making CAD production, handle file archiving and retrieval on a regular basis, and learn additional publishing applications. Proficiency with Windows, MAC and UNIX workstations, as well as Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat, and Illustrator is necessary. Excellent communication skills are essential.<br><br>
This position is within a garment pattern production area where they use UNIX and MAC machines. The process to produce the pattern is as follows:<br>
1. Pattern is created using Garment CAD (UNIX)<br>
2. Pattern is then transferred to UniGraphics CAD ( UNIX)<br>
3. Pattern is then finalized with Adobe FrameMaker (MAC)<br><br>
<b>Skill sets that are requested:</b><br>
• Good knowledge of Garment CAD software and/or UniGraphics CAD software and/or Adobe Frame Maker publishing tools<br>
• Solid knowledge of MAC and UNIX desktop management (file management)<br><br>
