A large financial firm in downtown Manhattan seeks an enthusiastic Billing Analyst to join their team.
Overview:
The Billing Analyst position is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of all necessary billing cycle activities to deliver accurate and effective client billing information.
Scope:
The Billing Analyst is responsible for performing the billing activities for products sold to clients supported by the North American sales staff.
Experience: Responsibilities and Duties:
In addition to the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of all necessary billing cycle activities, the responsibilities of this position include assisting with the monthly invoice process and ensure all necessary documentation, including contracts, addendums, service changes, price schedules are received for new customers and changes to existing customers. Will support the monthly reporting of billed revenue to the Revenue Accounting Group and audit billing invoices to ensure accuracy. Will provide reports as requested and establish and maintain a good working relationship with internal clients. This individual will also be responsible for reviewing and approval for all billing cycles; investigates and resolves billing operations issues in billing process. This position requires the ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic work environment. The individual will work closely with Accounts Receivable to resolve collections issues, and will perform month-end billing cycle information and ad hoc reporting.
Additional responsibilities include:
.Work with auditors on Sarbanes Oxley and audit review
.Quality assurance verification for billing system tables and processes
.Assist with implementation of process and control measures to increase operational efficiency
.Act as the primary liaison to other parts of the team and the rest of the company for billing related questions
.Audit and analyze revenue impacting issues and propose suggested resolution
.Perform monthly revenue assurance audits: contract validation versus billing and entitlement validation versus billing.
