Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Java and Front End Developer for a two to three month contract in Midtown. We are looking for a Java Developer who enjoys participating in some front end development. They will be able to work with a team to develop unique and innovative interactive applications.
Requirements:
Strong HTML/CSS Web development experience.
Experience developing the Presentation Layer
AJAX Experience
3 to 5 years of Web Development experience
Experience with application servers
Proficient in Java – Java Programmer Certified, and proficient in servlets, JSP, SQL, JDBC
Able to work in UNIX and Windows environments
Solid understanding of software engineering methodologies
Code clearly and maintain consistency; code well documented with minimal bugs and errors
Proven ability to take leadership in researching and implementing creative technology solutions
