UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Brooklyn, NY team. The successful candidate should possess a strong background in Financial Systems Analysis and possess CPA certification and/or an Accounting or related degree. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:· Function as Primary Analyst for automation of the Financial Management Unit.· Prepare existing system documentation, functional requirements, flowcharts, and new system specifications.· Recommend software solutions, workflow procedures, banking practices, data migration paths, interfaces and other systems solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, stability and operability of the financial management situation.· Participate in meetings with end users, accountants, technical staff, management, and vendors, as needed.· Present demos and system models, conduct testing, and collaborate with users, accountants, and management to determine goals and features.· Train accounting staff to use new system features prior to implementation.· Regularly report to management, in written and/or verbal form (as requested), on progress, issues, meetings, and other important project information.UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is an enterprise integration company focused at delivering IT solutions to both government agencies and commercial entities.
