The County is a civil service position which includes excellent benefits!The job description is as follows:Business Analyst / Project ManagerResponsibilities:- Prepare project plans and track progress against the plan- Coordinate vendor activities with end users- Collect / document departmental requirements- Develop reports using Crystal against vendor or in-house databases- Perform application testing and review- Develop user and support documentation- Verify client installation processes and document for future useSkills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work well with user, DoIT staff and vendor staff at various management levels- Ability to work independently- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle- Superior analytical ability- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and track details effectively- Relational DB experience (SQL Server or Oracle)- Crystal Reports- Microsoft Office Suite- Familiarity with Java, JSP, J2EEMy preference for this position is a right to hire that has some java and is willing to start as a County employee (plus the generous benefits that Westchester offers). After a year+ as an employee, the candidate would be eligible for a promotion with a pay increase of about 10%.
