Robert Half Technology office in Hauppauge is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Help Desk Administrator for one of our Long Island based clients. In this role you will diagnose and resolve hardware problems relating to PCs, laptops, barcode scanners, printers (maintenance, outq management, etc), cabling, etc. Prepare hardware (laptops, PCs) as needed for new/existing employees. Include becoming familiar with user’s responsibilities and required software. Provide telephone support to remote users on as needed basis. We are seeking local professionals with 2+ years of Help Desk experience. The successful candidate must be able to troubleshoot technical issues over the phone utilizing superior technical knowledge as well as customer service and effective communication skills.
