Eligibility:
This internship program is open to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in school and have completed their sophomore year. Interns MUST meet the following criteria:
Currently earning a college/university degree in Related Field
Excellent Communication Skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint

Length:
The Summer Internship program runs approximately from May 2008 – August 2008.

Location:
New York City. Students must provide their own housing and transportation.

Compensation:
We offer an attractive hourly salary. Interns are not eligible for company medical benefits, holiday pay or sick pay.

Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will participate in the management and analysis of a wide range of broadcast computer-based systems and IP networks in an on-air broadcast 24x7 environment. Candidate will assist in the analysis, testing, and implementation of new broadcast computer-based systems supporting file-based content workflows and computer controlled broadcast equipment.

These systems include those directly or indirectly related to computer-based broadcast operations such as:
Broadcast Automation
HD & SD Video Servers
Program related data insertion systems
Remote monitoring and diagnosis systems

Candidate will write technical standard operating procedures for systems learned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum college required: 3 years
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of IT based technologies and processes
Networking concepts
Servers
Non-Technical Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and originality
Interest in a career in Broadcast Technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: 4+ years
Technical Skills: Professional certification such as Microsoft MCSE or Cisco CCNA
Non-Technical Skills:
Knowledge of the Broadcast business
Knowledge of Automation Systems
