Personal growth into leadership (technical and/or supervisory) of software projects through all phases of software development: requirements definition to product release. Project assignments will be individual assignments and/or small software projects (1-3 engineers). Development of embedded software for real-time data processing and control needs within advanced radio communication equipment. Specifically, candidate will be responsible for developing software components for a COMSEC module or system software package. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Execute software development process in SEI Level 3 environment. Consult with electrical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware software, and operational performance requirements of the overall system. Perform coding and unit test of resultant software/firmware. Develop software system testing procedures, programming and documentation. Experience: Bachelors Degree in related Discipline and 2 years related experience or Masters Degree and 1 year or less directly related experience.Active security clearance is mandatory in this role, no exceptions.
