Nice opportunity with a Fortune 500 company in midtown NYC working on advanced Google Android and video DVB-H.VP needs a software engineer who is a power programmer who has a proven track record in managing full product lifecycles in leading a group of software developers in defining new mobile content platforms and applications. Need both Chief/Principal and Sr. Architect who have extensive experience in mobile applications architecture, in particular .NET including 3.0 framework and mobile controls, IIS, WSDL, Federated Architecture, SMPP, WAP Push, WAP Deck, XHTML, Device Detection, User Agent Profiles, and Java (Beans, J2ME, JSR 135, and JSR 272.The ideal candidate has a MSEE or MSCS degree with a least 5+ years working on .NET and Java based mobile applications. Must have a proven track record in at least 2 full product lifecycles and be an expert in CMS Interwoven, SEO, RSS, Image (real time) transformation, rendering and caching. In addition, must have worked for a mobile applications vendor in developing and deploying mobile apps and WAP portals with Tier 1 Mobile operators. Experience and knowledge of leading Mobile Widget platforms and technologies used by Nokia, Samsung, Yahoo, and Google. Experience with mobile operating systems - Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, iPhone, Blackberry. Must be expert working with various mobile browsers and mobile broadcasting technologies, including DVB-H, MHP, Java, and JSR. Looking for someone who is a power programmer, who can and willing to do some heavy lifting, potentially manage junior programmers and work closely with product management.Local candidates who can work in or take train daily to Manhattan only.
