BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T's Audit department, the IT Audit Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing risk based examinations of the Corporation's automated systems and supporting infrastructure to include providing sound recommendations to line management to minimize the Corporation's exposure to significant risks. RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform regular examinations of the Bank's applications and infrastructure. Demonstrate the ability to understand various system applications used by businesses throughout the Corporation and assess the associated risks. Demonstrate strong project management skills in the execution of examinations. Provide effective leadership over a team of 1-2 subordinates. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems or joint degree in Computer Science and Accounting Prior IT Auditing experience Strong leadership and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Certified Information Systems Auditor One to three years supervisory experience Prior banking or bank auditing experience a plus
