Genesis10 is seeking several Senior Java Web Developers for a major client in New York City. These are 9 month contract-to-hire opportunities.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 5 to 7+ years of core Java development experience.
- 3 to 5 years of web development experience in a Java environment.
- Experience with at least one "current" Java-based web UI framework like Wicket, GWT, Tapestry, Echo3, Ext, etc.
- Mandatory skills - Java (1.5 or higher), AJAX, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Apache web server, Tomcat.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Working knowledge of dependency injection concepts.
- Working knowledge of aspect oriented programming concepts.
- IoC Framework Experience (Spring or equivalent).
- ORM Framework Experience (Hibernate or equivalent).
- Adobe Flex.
- Software architecture skills.
- Design Patterns.
