Business Analyst Description:
As a member of the Professional Services Delivery Team in the role of an externally facing BA, you will be working with some of the companys largest and most strategic customers to mobilize key enterprise applications. You will work with the Professional Services Team, and our customers, to gather requirements, map as-is and to-be processes, produce functional specifications, test plans and other project related documentation. You will also support the Professional Services sales cycle and other Professional Services activities across North America including responding to proposals, SOW's, technical writing and other related tasks.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates can expect to spend upwards of 40-50% of their time traveling.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a Business Analyst (7+ years)
Previous experience in a customer facing role (2+ years)
Excellent interviewing, facilitation and data gathering skills
Previous experience in a customer facing role (2+ years)
Minimum of 2 years in a customer facing BA role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Experience communicating with customers at all levels
Proven experience producing: SOW's, Functional specs, Process maps, Customer presentations, Test plans.
Experience with at least one full cycle application development project
Post-secondary education (computer science or math and professional writing)
Ability to facilitate translation of complex business requirements into defined technical requirements;
Solid experience and understanding of testing and test methodologies
Solid understanding of the software development and project management lifecycles
Ability to handle fluctuating workloads, conflicting priorities and concurrent activities with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work on complex implementation projects
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Experience working in the Wireless industry
Experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and Oracle
