Our client is looking for a Mainframe/RACF Tester for a long term consulting assignment.
Responsible for Integration testing for Ops development projects.
Responsibility for creation of test plans, test cases and execution of testing.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
. Possesses a broad understanding of applications development products, operations and support systems.
. Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve business problems.
. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills.
. Comfortable enough with business process to effectively create functional specifications and other documentation supporting regulatory compliance.
Required education/experience:
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
. 3 to 6 years of IT work experience in applications programming / analysis.
. Good working knowledge of
systems / applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements / technical solutions.
. Can operate independently in performing moderately complex systems / applications software development functions.
. Good understanding of project management disciplines. . Strong working knowledge of
systems / applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements / technical solutions.
. Responsibilities more heavily weighted toward analytics than operations.
. Practical experience of project management disciplines.
