Position: Lead System AdministratorLocation: Tri- State(CT, NJ, NY)Duration: Perm.Responsibilities:· · Support and engineer growth of a 1000 server environment.· · Diagnose and remedy performance and availability incidents.· · Design and implement storage solutions for projects.· · Develop and document procedures for quarterly environment reviews.· · Automation of processes through the use of API's and scripts, a plus Requirements:·Five to seven years hands-on technical experience with: o Windows Server o File and Print Servers · Understanding of financial industry,is a must· Methodical troubleshooting.· Demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.· A bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Specific Technical Skills: Required:· Windows Server 2003· High Availability Technology - Microsoft Clustering· Active Directory/DNS· Scripting (batch, VBScript, Perl, Python, Powershell, etc.) Highly Desirable:· Messaging (MS Exchange)· Remote Access (Citrix, VPN, SSLVPN) Desirable: · WINS/LDAP/Kerberos· Windows Server 2008· Patch management and software distribution (SMS, Altris, LANDesk)· HP Hardware (Proliant)· SAN familiarity· Unix familiarity
