Genesis10 is seeking a hands-on Equities Technical Analyst/Business Analyst for our midtown New York City major global investment banking client. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary range of $110-$130k. The Analyst will lead day to day support and delivery of technology solutions to Equity front office traders and is responsible for supporting vendor applications; certifying FIX connections, writing specifications for new modules and also doing some minor development in SQL and Unix.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Strong understanding of Equities products.
- Experience supporting the technology and the business needs for daily operations as well as new functionality and enhancements.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize work load.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface with front office business users, vendors and senior management.
- Engineering or related degree required.
- Strong Knowledge of Equity products including FIX certification, OMS/EMS, Regulatory requirements, Securities Finance, Booking and settlement systems.
